Classsically trained dancer and performer Ariel Bettis has been dancing all her life.  Her numerous credits range from performance companies, stage, musical productions, commercials, and televison.

 

Ariel began dancing at Carol Graham Dance Center under the direction of Mrs. Carol Graham and Mrs. Glyanne Albinger at the age of three.  There she was a member of the C-Gee’s Dance Competition Team and studied ballet, pointe, jazz, acrobatics,and tap until completion of high school. While in high school, Ariel  extended training under Mrs. Joann Christopher peforming with the Moving Images Dance Company.  In college, she had the privilege of studying under the leadership of Mrs. Dianne-Maroney Grigsby, an original member of The Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, as a member of the Orchesis Dance Company for Grambling State University. 

 

Ariel has traveled extensively participating in dance conferences including: Regional Dance of America, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater,  Black College Dance Exchange, Tremaine Dance Convention, Dupree Dance Expo, and LA Dance Magic. She trained under some wonderful choreographers among them Anthony Burrell, John Lehrer, Cici Kelly, Rikki McKinney, Daryl Foster, and Allen Gartrell.
